Properly managing returns
I know that returns are an unpleasant fact of life for Amazon sellers. What I am wondering is how do I see if products actually get sent back and how I actually get them sent to me? I don’t see any indication that I have returned products in unsellable condition to make a removal order for. Maybe Amazon deemed them resellable as new or is taking their time to evaluate? My concern is amazon support is not actually requiring people to send the product back.
I have furbishment turned off and my product packaging is a colorful printed box with a sticker seal you have to cut or tear to open. I have looked at all of the return settings I can find and everything seems like it is set for all returns that are not received in brand new condition to be sent to my current address.
I currently have about 100 sales and 3 returns, but I want to get on top of it for when more returns come in. It would also be great if I could see the return reason. I have contacted buyers asking the return reason (being sure to state it will not affect the approval of their refund) and the ones that replied just said they didn’t need it. But I really want to know as soon as possible if there is any issues with the products, which I manufacture myself.
