Trying to create a new SKU but won’t appear

This issue occurs for some ASINs but not others, I’ll go to create a new SKU and everything seems fine as I fill in my values and barcode options but then the SKU never appears in my inventory, even after weeks. But doing the same thing for other listings works as intended.
Is there a reason for this or a way around this problem?
