Unbelievable But Amazon Will Not Let Me Move Countries!

I could not believe this would be the case (but then again with Amazon anything is possible) – I moved countries within Europe and Amazon does not let me change the country in my business entity setting (nor the business entity itself) as the option to change the country is greyed out. So it’s fixed to my old country and my original sole proprietorship.

Seller Support told me that they are considering changing it because a lot of people want that – would you think? You think after they would have realized that people actually do move countries (and change their business entities).

I went through the trouble of starting an LLC in the US and wanted to change my business over to that, but I don’t know if I can now.

I need to be taxed as a US business so I don’t think if the legal entity is changed I can actually do that? Is there a workaround for a situation like this? I figure this must have happened to tons of other people.
