Do Items Sell Faster on Amazon?

I am in the process of rebranding my balloon decorating business to a large format vinyl printing business, and I have an entire inventory of items to sell. Given that the inventory is mostly party supply items (balloon sizers, natural latex balloons, foil balloons, party photo props, etc.), would it make sense to sell these brand new, unopened, untouched items on Amazon where they will receive more eyes and help me learn how to sell on Amazon? Did anyone experience problems switching product offerings on Amazon?
