Selling on amazon a nessecity?
I am about 4 months into amazon business subscription and am wondering if this is worth it? Maybe it’s a neasecary evil to have a presence?
Context: profitable on other marketplace plus d2c & brick & mortar sales. However i only get “listing deactivated due to pricing” im finding it very difficult, to keep listings active because of amazons rock bottom dollar figure control..I’ve probably only broken even or sloght loss after product costs, seller fees, sub fees when looking at amazon? I get wholesale pricing on very niche top branded & approved items though I am aware enterprise stores probably get cheaper as they buy more in bulk..however I’ve dropped to razor thin margins to try and generate sales and feed the algorithm.
My question is presence absolutely necessary on amazon and stick it out to hope things grow? I’m contemplat8ng going back to a individual seller account and just posting individual listings of in demand products.
Kinda a rant, kinda want to be talk off the ledge from those with experience on this marketplace.
We don’t do FBA & have in our warehouses over 3mm inventory every quarter.
~ 1000 skus on amazon.
