Any pitfalls a first time seller needs to avoid?

I am starting my private label business on Amazon very soon. Been burned with OA before (no issues with Amazon themselves, just wasn’t profitable) want to know if there are any common pitfalls new PL sellers run into when starting out. Thanks.
