Third party seller scam?
I’ve been trying to order a sofa for my mom for over 2 months now, placing 4 orders with seemingly 4 different 3rd party sellers but all have been attached to the same product listing/ASIN. Each time I order I quickly get notification the item is shipped and a tracking number and then within 48 hours the sellers information is gone but the item is still listed just with multiple different sellers. Nothing has ever actually been delivered despite receiving delivery notifications weeks later. I’ve read other posts/articles of sellers using fake tracking numbers or sending inconsequential items like paper plates or lollipops which I believe is the case with this situation.
My question is who or how can I notify Amazon? I’ve tried calling and chatting but end up with CS reps who don’t understand the issue and just say they will note my account. And by the time I try to report using the report seller or product link the seller is gone and the product has 282 sales if you know what I mean, so the listing looks legit. Nearly every day the item has multiple just launched sellers with different prices but I can’t seem to get anybody at Amazon to take this scam seriously. Ultimately it’s hurting them as they continue to refund my money so you would think they’d want to fix the issue but clearly I’m not talking to the right people, so who do I contact?
