How a Complete 180 Attitude Change Made a Huge Difference in Performance
Wanted to share a bit of perspective about mindset and growth in this business. I’ve seen people come into new roles or projects with a laid-back attitude, thinking they can learn at their own pace without much urgency. Sometimes it doesn’t work out and they don’t make much progress early on.
But every once in a while, someone hits a turning point where they suddenly commit fully and start grinding in a way that really moves the needle. Their performance shoots up, they start hitting serious goals consistently, and it becomes clear that the change in mindset was the key.
I’m curious how common this kind of experience has been for others here. Have you ever seen or been that seller who was struggling or unmotivated at first but then flipped the switch and seriously upped their game? How important do you think attitude and commitment are compared to skill or knowledge in the early days of selling?
Would love to hear your stories or thoughts on what helped you or others make that leap.
