FBA in a different country

So I’m from the UK, I have been dropshipping in FBM within the UK market. I feel like it would be less riskier to do FBA in the US market considering how massive it is over there. Can someone who’s from the UK just send goods to amazon FBA in the US and sell or is there a process I have to go through.
