Does anyone use box packing software? Free or affordable online tools?

I want to figure out a few things:

1. What’s the best size box if I want to pack 5 packaged toys together?
2. What’s the best number of boxes to pack together to minimize shipping to FBA warehouses.

Would prefer an option to avoid the trial and error when creating FBA shipment plans.
