Does Amazon require Plaid?

I was wondering if Amazon requires sellers to use Plaid? Plaid seems quite bad in how they handle data, and I don’t like the idea of giving away my bank password+ user to them. I haven’t made an Amazon seller account, so I am not sure what the deal is. Last time I tried to make an Etsy account they required Plaid so I decided not to pursue Etsy further.
