Where to allocate cost of shipping to FBA

Where do you all calculate your FBA shipping costs?

Do you include it in the item and thus altering the profit margin on that asin or do you add it to the general ledger?

I like to see what my “real margin” is so I’ve been adding it there. But I’m thinking it belongs in the general ledger, ideally with an associated GL code but I don’t need codes.
