first time selling

I’m going to be selling a small lot of wholesale product. This is my first time so I’m sort of testing the waters seeing how well it does. Do I need to get an LLC or insurance first? The product is not dangerous but I know people are crazy. I don’t have much extra money as this is why I’m trying this out
