Is selling on Amazon UK in 2025 worth it?
I know this question has been asked multiple times in the past but I’ve just registered for a seller account on Amazon – got approved and then got a few negative comments come through about how I might actually lose money.
I just want to make like £1000 profit a month – nothing crazy. Is it doable? What are Amazon storage costs like? I can’t afford to lose a lot of money so some cutthroat real advice would be great. I haven’t set up shop yet or even sourced inventory as yet. Literally just got my seller account approved.

What Product Shortlisting Parameters Should I Focus On for Toys on Amazon?
Hey everyone!
i am planning to sell products for a small-brand toy manufacturer in the US amazon.
I’m researching the toy category for selling, and wanted to get your insights on how to shortlist the right products effectively.
I know the toy niche is competitive, but I’ve heard there are still great opportunities with the right product. What key parameters do you use when validating a toy product for Amazon FBA?
Anything specific that works well in toys, like bundles or STEM features?
Thanks in advance

Can I use my prep center as my business address?
I know some suppliers want you to have a commercial address (if only they could see my super cool tree house)

Circular Restrictions / Suggestion
So a quick question, I have some items that I list under a category “Night Lights” in lamps, but they could also classify as signage/display pieces. I have approval for them in this primary category no problems.
When I went in to edit a listing recently, the UI popped up that their AI has detected a better category “Decorative Signage”, under Home Decor, and won’t let me proceed with the edit unless I accept that change, or change wording to prevent the suggestion.
I’m actually okay with the category change, however if I accept it, I get unceremoniously told that I don’t have approval for that category, and it kicks me out. Doesn’t even save the changes as a draft.
So I tried to make a fresh listing to get the approval during the process, however it is just “Locked” with a padlock icon. Clicking this gives me the help document that tells me I can use the “Request Approval” button that should be there, but isn’t.
For now, I edited my wording to avoid this, but I’ll be quite happy to move to the suggested category and use the keywords, I just can’t seem to find out how.
Any ideas on how to proceed with a “locked” category with the padlock icon?

Getting Unauthorized Returns Sold on Ebay
I am the only manufacturer of my product and only distributor on Amazon. All returns come back straight to me. I am seeing an individual selling my product on Ebay and seems to be shipping small volumes which can only be amazon returns. Amazon returns definitely come back to me and I have rechecked the settings, but is there something else I could be missing?
