Sales by ASIN over time (broken down by month)
Is there a way this can be done?
I want to track sales performance over time for individual ASINs broken down by month / week.
I know how to see this over a specific time period via business reports, but that doesn’t tell me much, i want to see where sales started to dip.

Fraudulent orders rate in your industry
Hello fellow sellers,
I recently started selling as an FBM seller but will soon be switching to FBA. Despite a low volume of sales, I’m seeing a higher-than-usual number of fraud claims—especially compared to platforms like Etsy or my own website. I am selling premium incense.
I’m wondering if you could share the percentage of fraudulent orders you typically experience in your industry, and whether you account for this data in your business model.
I’m also curious: do you even bother fighting for your money with Amazon? It often feels like Amazon always sides with the scammer.
Thank you!

Trying to sell on Amazon for 5 months – CPSIA attribute can’t even be set!
I’ve been trying to get ONE product listed on Amazon for 5 months now. It’s a plush backpack under my own brand. Fully tested, certified, and cleared in the US and Europe.
All documents are submitted, including the CPC and lab reports (costing thousands). Still, Amazon rejects the listing.
Why?
Because they keep asking me to update the CPSIA attribute.
Here’s the joke:
The “CPSIA warning” field doesn’t even exist when editing the listing.
It’s not shown in the UI, and uploading a flat file doesn’t help either — Amazon just keeps replying with the same automated message asking for a CPSIA warning attribute that I cannot physically set.
And it’s even more frustrating because:
- My product doesn’t have small parts.
- It’s not for kids under 3.
- There is no choking hazard.
- The product is set for Teens (13+).
- The correct value should be “No warning applicable”, but THERE’S NO WAY TO SET IT!
Meanwhile, I see cheap, unbranded, obviously non-compliant Chinese products listed and selling without issues — no documentation, no problems. But my tested, compliant, legitimate product? Blocked for months.
Amazon, what are we supposed to do?

External Product ID and ID Type for Handmade Product
I already have an eBay and an Etsy store, and I’m trying to list my handmade item on Amazon for the first time. I’m trying to sell a ring which has variations for each ring size. I finished most of the listing but I’m stuck at the section in variations where it wants an “external product ID” and “external product ID type.”
At first I was just going to make up a number for this, but it only allows you to choose “ASIN, EAN, GTIN, and UPC.” The problem is that I have about 18 different sizes that I want to offer, so I don’t want to register each one of these variations with it’s own UPC etc.
What is the best way to handle this section? I seems kind of ridiculous to me that you need registered barcodes for a handmade product.
