Does anyone know what is relationship between Amazon Bulk operations SP SEARCH TERMS sheet and RAS SEARCH TERMS Sheet, they have some overlapping data, I believe Amazon just recently split SP search terms into two, but do not understand why data are duplicates.

Launching Amazon USA Store for an Established Mexican Retailer – Need Guidance on First Steps and Best Practices

Hi everyone,

I recently joined a long-standing retail company in Mexico that’s been around for over 50 years and has grown to over 50 physical stores nationwide. Around six years ago, the company successfully expanded into major Mexican online marketplaces (like Mercado Libre) and now we’re preparing to enter Amazon USA. I’ve been appointed to oversee our Amazon USA operations, and while I’m experienced with marketplaces in Mexico, I’m still learning the ins and outs of Amazon through Seller University and would love help with preparation.

Here’s the current situation:

  • We have a U.S. LLC already established.
  • We’re working with an Amazon KAM.
  • Our U.S. Amazon store hasn’t launched yet, but it’s in the works.
  • Three of our brands are currently going through USPTO trademark registration.

I’m looking for advice from more experienced sellers on:

  1. What foundational steps should I take before launching?
  2. What should be ready in terms of operations, logistics, and catalog setup before going live?
  3. What do I need to know about Brand Registry with trademarks still pending?
  4. Any tips or common mistakes to avoid when transitioning from other marketplaces into Amazon USA?
  5. What are some useful tools or workflows you recommend early on?

Any insights would be hugely appreciated. I’m excited to be part of this community and to learn from those who’ve already walked this path.

Thanks to all!

10 Amazon Myths Still Hurting Sellers in 2025 (And What to Do Instead)

Amazon has changed dramatically over the last few years, but many sellers are still stuck using outdated advice that no longer works. In 2025, clinging to common myths can cost you rankings, profit, and even your account health.

Here are 10 Amazon myths that are still floating around and what savvy sellers know to do instead.

Myth 1: “The Lowest Price Always Wins the Buy Box”

Reality: Pricing is just one piece of the puzzle. The Buy Box also factors in seller performance, shipping speed, fulfillment method (FBA/FBM), and inventory levels.

👉 Use competitive repricing tools and focus on fast fulfillment and great metrics, not just low prices.

Myth 2: “More Keywords = Better Rankings”

Reality: Keyword stuffing can actually hurt your ranking and listing readability. Amazon’s A10 algorithm prioritizes relevance and conversions, not just density.

👉 Use keyword research tools to identify high-converting terms and naturally integrate them into your title, bullets, and backend keywords.

Myth 3: “Once My Listing Is Optimized, I’m Done”

Reality: Optimization is never one-and-done. Your competition, reviews, and buyer behavior change constantly.

👉 Audit your listings regularly and A/B test your images, bullets, and pricing using tools like Amazon’s Manage Your Experiments or third-party platforms.

Myth 4: “I Don’t Need Advertising if My Product Ranks Organically”

Reality: Even top-ranking listings rely on ads for visibility and sales velocity — especially for competitive categories.

👉 Smart sellers blend sponsored ads, brand ads, and even external traffic to drive consistent growth.

From Invisible to Page One How Amazon Sellers Are Using External Traffic to Rank Faster in 2025

External traffic isn’t just for awareness — it can directly boost your Amazon rankings. See how sellers are ranking faster in 2025 with off-Amazon traffic.

Myth 5: “All Reviews Are Treated Equally”

Reality: Verified reviews carry more weight, and Amazon actively filters out suspicious or low-quality reviews.

👉 Focus on generating authentic, verified reviews through post-purchase engagement and tools like Amazon’s Vine program or request-a-review features.

Myth 6: “A High Return Rate Doesn’t Matter If Sales Are High”

Reality: Amazon tracks return rates by ASIN and high return rates can lead to suppression, increased fees, or reduced visibility.

👉 Monitor your return reasons and use that data to refine listings, improve packaging, or enhance customer education.

Myth 7: “FBA Is Always the Best Fulfillment Option”

Reality: Not for every product. For oversized items, slow-moving inventory, or fragile goods, FBM or 3PL may be more profitable.

👉 Evaluate FBA vs FBM vs 3PL based on storage fees, return rates, and shipping reliability — and consider hybrid fulfillment if needed.

Amazon FBA in 2025 Is It Still Worth It or Should You Switch to FBM or 3PL

Choosing the right fulfillment strategy can make or break your margins. Here’s how FBA, FBM, and 3PL stack up in 2025.

Myth 8: “External Traffic Doesn’t Help Amazon Sales”

Reality: External traffic — from Google, TikTok, YouTube, and influencers — boosts traffic, conversions, and ranking under Amazon’s A10 algorithm.

👉 Create a diversified traffic strategy using social proof, influencer campaigns, and retargeting.

Myth 9: “Amazon SEO Is Just About Search Terms”

Reality: Amazon SEO also includes images, video, reviews, click-through rate, and conversion rate.

👉 Think beyond keywords — optimize for engagement and shopper experience across every part of your listing.

Amazon Listing Optimization 2025

Amazon SEO goes way beyond search terms — it’s about images, engagement, and conversion too. Here’s how to optimize your listings for higher rankings and sales in 2025.

Myth 10: “I Can Just Copy What My Competitor Is Doing”

Reality: Blindly copying a competitor’s listing may replicate their flaws and doesn’t guarantee success.

👉 Instead, analyze competitors, but differentiate with better images, more persuasive copy, and a unique value proposition.

Final Thoughts

In 2025, success on Amazon doesn’t go to the biggest sellers — it goes to the smartest. The ones who test, pivot, and challenge outdated assumptions are the ones building sustainable growth.

If any of these myths are still shaping your strategy, now’s the time to let them go. Amazon is changing fast and sticking to old rules is one of the quickest ways to fall behind.

The good news? You don’t have to figure it out alone. With tools like Seller Labs, data-backed decisions, smarter listings, and optimized workflows are finally within reach.

Adapt boldly. Sell intentionally. And watch what happens when you stop following myths and start leading with strategy.

Can i sell on Amazon-Dubai without a business license

Hello, Id like to test the market for some products I brought back from Japan and Korea to see if there is demand.

Do i need a business license to sell them, or can I proceed without one?

Advice regarding daily sale variations

I understand that there isn’t going to be any guarantees when selling on Amazon, but the variation in sales seems to have no pattern at all.

Logically, I would have thought that sales would increase around when people get paid at the end of the month and then decrease slowly throughout the month and there would be specific days and times of days. I would be more likely to make sales but this hasn’t been the case at all.

Some days I can make 40 and then the next day 200 in sales, I also have quite a lot of occurrences where I won’t sell a particular item for weeks and then two people will buy it within 5 minutes of each other.

I don’t use any advertising so all sales come organically but the whole thing just confuses me. Is this a regular thing but other sellers?

This is a side hustle for me. And I am an FBM merchant. I have 12 months of sales data.

Setting UK FBA to France

I used to sell a product FBM from UK to France that was doing okay. I decided to set it up for FBA and sent some stock in.

All booked in and ready to order in UK. Now on the France selling central it shows as 0 in stock.

What do I need to set up to make UK stock available to France?
