When the hell am I supposed to get a trademark?
Hey guys,
I recently started selling on Amazon handmade in Canada and the US. I’ve been seeing some growth recently which is great (not crazy like a top product though). However, I’ve seen a lot of cautionary tales of folks getting copycats/foreign sellers using their ASINs to sell their own products.
I’ve started consulting with different trademark firms over email and wanted to know when you decided to get a trademark and/or transparency codes for your business.
Thanks!

Can overly grouping ASINs together actually hurt each child ASINs sales more than if they were listed alone in 2025
Back in the day, sellers would group similar—but not necessarily variant—products under a single parent ASIN. For example, let’s say a brand sells 9 different face washes. They aren’t the same product in different sizes or scents—they’re totally unique—but people would group them under one parent to consolidate history and (more importantly) share the search ranking benefit.
In the past this always worked like a charm. I have sold for some larger brands, and using this tactic was an easy win. Since 2023, I no longer think this is the case. Sure if the grouping “should be together” that’s one thing, but what about my example above? I know only one of the child ASINs will show on a SERP page. Could I be hurting myself sales today unintentionally?

I need help with learning about selling on Amazon
I am a beginner at selling on Amazon. In fact I want to work as a brand manager for companies that sell on Amazon. I do naturally have passion for business growth and branding. I have understanding of the market and studying the customer. However, I need to learn specifically for Amazon. Please recommend a course or resources on youtube I can use.

Selling a low cost product with AmazonFBA
Hello !
I am creating a product, and I try to find how to sell it. The product would cost between 8 to 12e, for 3,5e to create, and have the potential of multiple sales if customers like it.
Regarding AmazonFBA, by looking at costs, I don’t see this working. But looking at other products, people are selling stuffs at 10e : are they losing money ?
My case :
– The product 3,5e
– AmazonFBA, small item, France 3,31e
– Amazon commition 0,47e
– TVA 1,6 to 2,4e
Total cost : 8,88e (sell for 8e) to 9,68e (sell for 12e)
Am I missing something ? I may overestimate AmazonFBA costs, as it may be ship with other items ?
If I am correct I can :
– Upgrade my marging (difficult, not impossible)
– Sell in bundle to mutualise costs
– Sell direct, 8e + 5e port
– Be more expensive (may not be possible regarding the product)
I would really like to go through Amazon Prime with benefits coming with it, but I don’t find a solution. Do you have any insight ? Thanks !
