Need Advice From Amazon Sellers

Hey community, I wanted to check where I should reach out if I am looking for 50-100 small, solo, medium sellers for the listing optimiser I built for them to try out. It’s free for these beta users. I am not posting any link as I saw it in the rules.

ASIN I’ve Sold for Years Just Got Blocked – Suggestions Aren’t Helping

I’ve been selling the same ASIN (B004N84C18) via FBA for years with no issues — and now suddenly, I’m getting blocked from sending it in.

When I try to create a shipment, I get 3 errors:

  1. “This product is ineligible for sending to Amazon with a manufacturer barcode.” → I’ve always used manufacturer barcodes for this, so I’m not sure why this is coming up now. I tried switching to Amazon barcodes, but it says the ASIN is ineligible for FBA.
  2. “The ASIN has stranded inventory.” → I went to the stranded inventory page, but this sku is not there.
  3. “Product is under dangerous goods (hazmat) r*****. The submitted documentation is incomplete.” → Again, this is a product I’ve sold forever without any hazmat issues. I submitted the SDS, but it keeps blocking me from sending to FBA.

I’ve followed all the “Learn More” links, but none of the steps seem to resolve the issue. Anyone else ever dealt with this combo of problems? Any idea how to actually get it fixed or escalated?

Appreciate any help — this is one of my top sellers.

How Amazon Dayparting Can Skyrocket Your Ad Profits in 2025

In the fast-paced world of Amazon advertising, timing isn’t just important, it’s everything. Imagine spending the same amount on ads but generating more conversions, lower ACOS, and higher ROAS, all because you showed your ads at the right time. That’s the power of Amazon dayparting.

If you’re not already using dayparting in 2025, you’re leaving money on the table. And with tools like Seller Labs’ Ad Genius, implementing it has never been easier.

What is Amazon Dayparting?

Dayparting is the strategic practice of scheduling your Amazon ads to run during specific times of the day or days of the week when your customers are most likely to buy. Instead of running ads 24/7, you focus your budget on peak hours to maximize return on ad spend.

This isn’t just a hunch-based tactic—it’s backed by performance data.

Why Dayparting Matters More Than Ever in 2025

Amazon’s ad space has grown increasingly competitive. Costs are rising, and shoppers are more selective. Here’s why dayparting is a must:

  • Improved Efficiency: Stop wasting budget during low-converting hours.
  • Lower ACOS: Only bid when your customers are likely to buy.
  • Higher ROAS: More conversions from the same budget.
  • Competitive Advantage: Reach shoppers when competitors’ budgets run dry.

The Secret Weapon: Seller Labs’ Ad Genius + Dayparting Heatmap

Seller Labs takes dayparting to the next level with Ad Genius, a powerful advertising platform tailored for Amazon sellers. At the heart of its dayparting strategy is the Dayparting Heatmap, a visual and data-driven tool that unlocks your peak performance windows.

What You Can Do with Seller Labs’ Dayparting Tools:

1. Visualize Performance by Hour

The Heatmap gives you a bird’s-eye view of key ad metrics like:

  • Impressions
  • Clicks
  • Cost Per Click
  • Attributed Conversions
  • Attributed Sales
  • Attributed Units Ordered
  • ACOS
  • ROAS
  • Ad Spend
  • Conversion %

These are all broken down by hour and day, letting you see when your ads perform best.

2. Identify High-Waste Time Blocks

Find the “dead zones” where ad spend goes to die—and pause or reduce bids during those hours.

3. Automate Performance-Based Optimizations with Suggestion Manager

While Ad Genius doesn’t allow you to automate hourly bid changes directly through the Dayparting Heatmap, you can still automate broader campaign optimizations—like bid adjustments, keyword refinements, and budget changes—using the Suggestion Manager. These automations complement your manual dayparting schedule by keeping your campaigns competitive.

4. Capitalize on Competitor Downtime

Many sellers exhaust their budgets early in the day. With Seller Labs’ Dayparting Heatmap, you can identify high-performing evening hours—when competition may be lower—and use that insight to manually increase bids or adjust strategies to capture low-CPC conversions.

How to Start Dayparting with Seller Labs

  1. Log in to Seller Labs Ad Genius.
  2. Navigate under the Ad Genius tab and open the Dayparting Heatmap.
  3. You can view performance data for all SKUs or filter to a specific SKU to analyze trends by hour and day.
  4. Use the Heatmap insights to identify high- and low-performing time blocks. Then apply those findings by setting up manual dayparting schedules within your campaigns.
  5. To save time, you can also use the bulk editing feature to apply dayparting schedules across multiple campaigns at once.
  6. Continue to monitor, test, and refine your scheduling strategy to optimize ad performance over time.

Note: The Dayparting Heatmap is currently available in US markets only.

Want a full walkthrough? Check out our knowledge base article for a step-by-step guide to using dayparting in Seller Labs.

Pro Tip:

Run your ads in 6-hour blocks (e.g., 6am–12pm, 12pm–6pm, 6pm–12am) to start identifying trends quickly.

Why Dayparting Should Be Central to Your 2025 Ad Strategy

In 2025, success with Amazon advertising isn’t just about having a budget—it’s about knowing when and how to spend it. Dayparting transforms your campaigns from passive to precision-driven, helping you eliminate wasted spend and capitalize on your highest-converting hours. With Seller Labs’ Ad Genius and its powerful Dayparting Heatmap, you’re not just reacting to data—you’re leading with it. This is your opportunity to take control of ad performance, outsmart the competition, and scale profitably with intention.

For y’all that FBM, how do you handle your replacement shippings and refunds?

We use Amazon Shipper…When we have to send a replacement for a lost or damaged order, we reprint the shipping label and send it, which does not provide tracking capability.

For y’all that FBM, how do you handle your replacement shipments and refunds?

Also, how do you use Amazon warranty service to get refunded?

Thanks!!!!

How can I compete? Advice needed

I have been selling on Amazon now for about 8ish months. My products are dog treats and I own the brand. My products for the first 6 months were doing amazing, but then I got undercut 2 for 1 by bigger brands. Now I’ve been struggling to keep up. I’ve found a new supplier so now I can get my price to match the bigger competitors, but the issue of shipping cost still remains. I am FBM, if I switch to FBA do you think I can compete?

Here is a breakdown,

It costs me $8.5 to get the product and package it. I sell it for 16.99

Amazon takes their cut and shipping is charged to the customer typically between $4.50-$5.30

After shipping the customer pays much more for my product vs the competitors who offer free shipping.

This leaves me with a low profit margin.. if I switch to FBA could I do better? How should I price the product? PLEASE give me some advice. Thank you
