Amazon FBM – Does Amazon provide real customer phone numbers?
I do Amazon FBM, all B2B, and noticed a customer provided a 5 digit phone extension which doesn’t seem right. In this industry, you usually just have a phone number (solo operator) or, rarely, a 3 or 4 digit extension.
I Google’d the number, and it appears to be used by scammers. However, on Amazon seller forums, someone said these are Amazon numbers that transfer to the customer’s real phone number.
I’m looking to see if this is actually true or not and where would I confirm this?
The number I got starts with 929-436, a NY area code which the customer lives in the midwest.
The only information I could find out is that it is a VoIP and from Bandwidth.

Struggling to Create Amazon Seller Account – Date of Birth Format Problem
I’m having a lot of trouble creating an Amazon seller account. I’ve double-checked all my information and documents, and I’m following all the instructions. I suspect the problem is with the date of birth format. Amazon’s system seems to want DD/MM/YYYY, but my driver’s license uses MM/DD/YYYY.
I’ve contacted support, but all I’m getting are automated emails with generic instructions I’ve already tried. I even sent them this message (included below). Has anyone else experienced this issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
“Hello,
“I’ve confirmed that the date of birth I entered is correct. However, I believe the issue may be due to a difference in date formats. The Amazon system appears to require the date in DD/MM/YYYY format, while my driver’s license displays it as MM/DD/YYYY.
Could I please receive assistance in resolving this?”

We are not able to charge your account
I’ve jumped through all the hoops so far to become an Amazon seller, the latest was to verify all the European Amazons with a £1 charge but my account still shows this:
Unable to charge
We are not able to charge your account. Assign a valid charge method to restore full access to your seller account. For more information, refer to our Help Pages.
I’ve used a debit card, not credit card but that should no be the reason or perhaps it is?

Receiving Amazon global Payments in India
As an Indian seller using Amazon Currency Converter for Sellers (ACCS) they are charging a lot like 3% and also like 1 INR fx markup, I’m considering switching to Skydo for receiving payments. I heard like Skydo has recently received Amazon’s Payment Service Provider (PSP) approval. They are currently offering me zero forex markup and a flat USD 1 transaction fee for first 3 months. Has anyone here made this switch? If so, could you share your experiences regarding the payment processing time, fees, and overall service quality?

Inventory management that includes AWD and AGL inbound shipments?
Hi Sellers,
Does anyone know of an inventory management solution that includes FBA inventory, AWD inventory + AWD inbound shipments? My two current mainstream tools don’t offer AWD + inbound info so I’m manually adding it weekly to a report from Sellerboard.
