Opening New Seller Account, document rejected but unable to upload new document
trying to open a seller account but the document was rejected. Got an email stating “Your Amazon seller account cannot be activated at this time because we were unable to verify the information you provided during the account verification process. To proceed with account activation, you need to submit additional information.”
I believe the document I uploaded may have our old address, which didn’t match with the address I submitted, but I need to upload new statement of information with the matching address, but there is no place to upload new documents?
Only option is to chat with support and they said someone will reach out to me to upload new documents, but its been 5 days now since then and still no one has reached out.. what do i do now?
I tried the seller-verification(at)amazon.com but got an undeliverable message that inbox is full.
i understand trying to open another account is a big no-no so i am not doing that but I cant get a hold of someone to take a look at my new document.

The Business Playbook for 8-Figure Amazon Brands
Caught in a 7-figure rut? Our business playbook marks the path to unlock 8-figure sales on Amazon.
Scaling on Amazon is about systemizing your success, and unlocking key growth levers that most sellers overlook. And the crucial step forward is executing a set of core tools, systems and strategies.
So, without further ado, let’s break down the Amazon playbook that’ll get you scaling to 8 figures in the marketplace.
Build an Operational Backbone
A lot of brands manage to reach $1–3M in sales on hustle alone, but without tackling inefficiencies in the process. That, in the end, is what kills growth. For instance, one area that exposes inefficiencies is inventory forecasting and control.
To scale past $10M, your foundation must include robust stock management, streamlined logistics, and key performance data that informs your sales strategy.
For instance, you can stay ahead of stockouts and overstocking with tools like SoStocked or RestockPro. Seller Central also has unique features that’ll help you forecast inventory needs and manage costs — such as your IPI score.
Your system should account for:
- Lead times from overseas and domestic suppliers.
- Amazon FBA warehouse check-in lag
- Seasonal demand surges
- Real-time profit per SKU
It’s conscious automation and KPI-driven tactics that’ll help you keep track of customer demand and restock accordingly.
Drive Growth with Advanced Advertising
8-figure sellers don’t just run ads on Amazon. Instead, they optimize for profitable market share using a mix of advanced ads sponsored campaigns and Demand Side Platform.
Manual bids are a thing of the past. You don’t have to set a number and hope for the best. High-figure brands use data to fuel their performance. Not only that, but they rely on Amazon PPC management software to:
- Segment branded vs non-branded campaigns.
- Harvest high-converting Amazon keywords into exact match campaigns.
- Use retargeting campaigns for brand halo lift.
- Track TACoS to measure total revenue impact.
Don’t just scale your advertising budget — scale performance. Use the right tools to optimize campaigns while reducing ad spend.
Optimize for Conversion
You’ve paid Amazon for the clicks. Now, make your listings do the heavy lifting. One thing is to set up a storefront, but top brands treat product pages as storefronts in themselves.
Optimized listings drive conversions, organic ranking, and ad efficiency. That means:
- Use Amazon keyword research to optimize titles and bullet points
- Design mobile-first images with lifestyle shots and comparison charts
- Invest in A+ Content that adds value and reduces bounce rate.
- Leverage reviews, videos, and FAQs strategically.
Forget about keyword stuffing. The goal is to sell with story, clarity, and speed.
Private Label (the Right Way)
Private labeling at scale is not about following the standard business playbook. It’s about differentiating yourself in a market niche, and then dominating it. To do so, you’ll need to follow a structured process:
- Validate product-market fit with keyword demand and weak competition.
- Design better packaging, branding, materials, or features to differentiate yourself.
- Launch in phases — test small, iterate, then scale.
Avoid saturated or “proven” products. Focus on branding and build assets with market validation. When you differentiate yourself, you’ll break into competitive niches and build a strong, trusted brand.
Expand Beyond Amazon
Amazon should not be your only revenue engine. Diversifying across ecommerce channels like Walmart, Target Shopify, TikTok Shop, and others helps:
- Reduce channel risk (especially from Amazon policy changes)
- Capture new customers
- Increase brand equity and DTC customer data access
Amazon-first is fine, but Amazon-only is fragile. Use multichannel ecommerce platforms to integrate inventory and streamline operations. You’ll unlock new revenue streams while building a resilient, 8-figure brand — always preventing channel conflict, of course.
Track Metrics that Matter
Numbers drive decisions. To stay on course, top brands obsess over metrics like:
- ACoS rate
- LTV and reorder rates
- FNSKU-level profitability
- Cost per unit (including freight, tariffs, and storage)
- IPI Score and FBA fees
Build a Team that Scales With You
Sometimes, founders get stuck in day-to-day tasks. While necessary at first, this can often turn into a bottleneck at later stages of the business playbook.
8-figure sellers systemize execution through:
- Clear org charts with roles for logistics, marketing, and finance.
- SOP libraries for inventory forecasting, PPC optimization, and listing updates.
- Weekly planning dashboards and cadences, tracking leading KPIs
- Set up defined roles assigned to fulfill daily operations.
- Build a culture of structured deep work
Founders should transition into heads of strategy and move away from day-to-day execution. Delegate outcomes — not just tasks — to build a healthy, high-profit brand.

While waiting for bank statement…
I am in process of setting up my Amazon seller account (FBA). I am at the verification stage at a standstill until I get my first bank statement.
What are some things I should be doing for the next 2 weeks? I don’t want to sign up for trial periods on sourcing software until approved.

Taking ownership of listing
We had some resellers who have been selling on Amazon. We are trying to take over the listings so that we can improve the content/images/A+, etc. We have been able to sell under these existing ASIN’s now, and I can make some edits to the page (but I think the original “owner” needs to audit it?) but I still can’t change images. Is there any way around this? Support has been… mediocre.

Does anyone have any experience with creating PR boxes for their business?
I’m selling a specific niche product that isn’t getting many views. I’m thinking of sending PR boxes to small influencers to gain some traction. Does anyone have any experience with sending PR boxes?

Help with Copy-Cat Sellers
I design and sell 3-5 products on Amazon as a side hustle. It’s been doing well, with daily sales of $200-$300 in the last 3 months. I’ve been really proud.
Recently, a Chinese copy-cat account took my product and is selling their copy of my product for a few bucks cheaper (they are using inferior materials which 100% won’t last long-term).
TLDR; Amazon won’t likely do anything since I don’t have a patent on my design. What are some practical things I can do to combat this copy-cat?
