Is it still safe to use UPC from eBay?
Hi,
I finally used up all UPC that I bulk purchased almost 10 years ago. I need more. eBay has them at an affordable price. I wonder if they really work and how eBay sellers could sell them way cheaper than the GS1. Have anyone here used UPC from eBay sellers? Please share your experiences. Thanks.

Inventory sync software with AI. Anyone interested?
I am a developer by trade and used to work for a brand. During that time, I developed an in-house inventory sync program that helps automate warehouse management and sync inventory to different marketplaces. The software also has a repricer module and a couple of modules to help increase sales and optimize inventory.
Now, with AI, would anyone be interested in AI answering questions about trending products you may want to sell, spying on your competitor for you, or advising you on how to write a letter to Amazon in case your account gets deactivated? Are there any other features that you would like to see in inventory optimization software?
Thanks!

No active seller account, but Amazon Marketplace charging me $1.75/month
I sold a few items on Amazon waaay back, like probably 15-20 years ago. (Sorry, I’m a bit vague on the timeline of this whole saga as I never thought it would matter.) Then maybe 5-10 years ago, they notified me that my seller account was being terminated due to alleged fraud. I hadn’t done anything fraudulent, and in fact hadn’t logged into the account in years at that point. I believe I did send an indignant inquiry at the time and basically got the response that there was no possible appeal and their decision was final. Obviously I wasn’t any sort of serious seller, so I just let it go.
Fast forward to now and I notice this charge on my credit card (a Prime Visa, if it matters): PLAN FEE – AMAZON MKTPL*N. The charge is $1.75/month and it started in June of this year. As far as I can find online, a charge that shows up that way could only be a seller fee, except the monthly one charged to pro sellers is $39.99 whereas individual sellers are charged $0.99 per item sold, not per month. Obviously I’m not selling anything at all, so either way I’m confused.
My Amazon customer account is now associated with a different email address than the one that was associated with the old, allegedly terminated seller account. If I try logging into Seller Central with the old address, it says there is no such account (good, expected); with the new address it lets me log in and offers to help me set up a seller account, so no indication that they’re already charging me or why.
I sent an inquiry through Seller Central Help, but I have a feeling this isn’t going to be an easy one to solve. Has anyone encountered or heard of a $1.75 monthly Marketplace fee?! I have a screenshot of the CC transactions, will post it in comments if that’s allowed here.

Cancelled Promotions – Reprecussions?
I scheduled a promotion on a product to match a competitor. I now want to cancel the promotion but it seems like Amazon will reprimand us. This is what it said:
“Amazon often tells customers about upcoming promotions. Canceling this promotion may confuse customers. Amazon monitors vendor promotion cancellations and reserves the right to remove vendors from the Promotions program and return any inventory purchased for any promotion at any time.
If the promotion has already started, you will be billed for all units sold until the end of the day of cancellation, regardless of the time you cancel the promotion.”
Has anyone cancelled a promotion and been removed from the promotions program or experienced any repercussions?
Thanks
FYI: This is on Amazon Vendor Central

Registering as Amazon Seller without Owner
This may seem like a dumb question but bear with me!
My company is trying to register on Amazon Seller, in the contact info we put that of a company employee (not the owner) because the owner is unavailable. Obviously our registration request got denied. So my question is, how can I register the business without the business owner.
I know I need a power of attorney letter, but can someone please explain the detailed process to me?

Your Amazon selling account will be deactivated in accordance with Section 3 of the “Amazon Business Solutions Agreement”
I got an email stating that my account would be deactivated because I violated section 3. I’ve been careful not to do anything fraudulent, and have maintained a healthy account rating. Anyone know why they are doing this? Do they actually intend to shut down my account, or will I get to keep it if I “register for virtual identity verification.” Which I thought I already had done, by the way.
