Amazon cancelled order and refunded the customer

Amazon cancelled an order of a customer after 2 days. The reason cited was address not deliverable, even though I’ve sent items to the same address. The customer contacted us via phone and gave us shit for the same and now we’ve lost the customer and the order....

Anyone had similar situation? I sent 3500 units in July 29th, 1500 still not scanned or available, every time I check it pushes investigation date further and further away, it gives date, when that date comes, shows new date. Can I in any other way ask for refund and if so will be be COGS or sales
