A new supplier wants to do 60% upfront and 40% once the order is finished and shipped (not delivered). Is this ok?

They’re a verified seller and have done $100’s of thousands in sales with a nice looking office and factory. Does that mean they’re legit? Can I still get screwed some how (even if it’s a long shot)?
