Account deactivated; need help pleaae

I need serious help. I have tried to open my Amazon seller account , but it was deactivated as soon as I entered the code from the mailer they sent me. I am unsure why, but need assistance understanding how I can fix this. I’m desperate at this point because Amazon doesn’t have any help desk I can reach out to for assistance regarding this matter.
