All multi-pack variation listing images locked to 1-count variation. Multi-pack variations sales plummet 50%.

I have a listing with 3 count variations (ie 1 pack, 2 pack and 5 pack).

For many months, I’ve been able to have custom images for the 1st image for the 3 pack and 5 pack that show that it’s “more than 1” which converts well as it visually shows the customer what they’re actually getting. All my competitors have the same type of custom multi-pack listing images too.

A few days ago, Amazon locked my variation images to be exactly the same as my 1 pack images. Now I can’t customize any variation images and they are perpetually linked to 1 pack images. I’ve tried changing the images many times for the other variations and they won’t change.

I asked support and they said that the count variations are locked to the 1 count listing. And that this is usually how it works, they said.

With that said, my conversions for the multi-packs have plummeted more than 50%.

My 3-pack is by far my most popular. This is for an FBA listing.

Is there anything I can do?
