Amazon Account Deactivation: Seeking Advice on Retrieving Locked Funds
Several months ago, I received an email notifying me that my Amazon Seller Account had been deactivated in accordance with section 3 of Amazon’s Business Solutions Agreement. Consequently, my listings were removed, and pending orders cancelled. I currently have $15,000 locked up in my Amazon account.
Amazon’s policies can be quite vague, and after 90 days, they advise reaching out to disbursement-appeals@amazon.com. However, despite emailing them from a different address as a test, I haven’t received any response in over a month. At this point, I’m primarily interested in recovering my funds; I’m less concerned about restoring the store. Amazon’s stringent rules have been challenging for sellers, and my appeal remains unanswered.
If anyone has advice on how to retrieve my money, I would greatly appreciate it. Please refrain from negativity. It’s important to note that my account was deactivated (not suspended), so I cannot log in. Additionally, I’ve heard claims from Amazon “gurus” that funds cannot be held for more than 90 days, but I remain skeptical.
Thank you for any insights you can provide!
