Amazon Ads: How long from setup to serving, and can I wait it out on lower CPC?
I have a bunch of CPCs set at $0.10 from 3 days ago that have received something like 10 impressions in those 3 days.
My question is:
Does this mean that I will never receive any impressions because the bid is too low, or do I need to wait longer to see whether the bids will be accepted? For example, does it normally take 5 days before you start seeing impressions on a new campaign? Or do you expect it to be more or less instant from when the ad is approved?
In the old days when I used to do Adwords, Google used to not serve your ads for about a week if you used a low bid, to entice you to raise it, but then once that week was up they’d begin serving it anyway. Because I’m used to that I have the feeling that I should wait longer before increasing the bid. But I have another feeling that I’m never going to see any impressions unless I raise the bid.
