Amazon deactivated my listing for “safety concerns” that they also have for sale

I got an email from Amazon asking for ISO test reports for a product we have listed for sale on Amazon. I checked and the product listing is still up and Amazon still has their stock and a few other seller’s stock, same product same asin. Is this Amazon’s plan to try to crush out third party sellers of products they also sell? Or could this have been one of my competitors that reported my listing somehow? I also got an email just yesterday saying 3 other products I have listed are being investigated for safety and temporarily deactivated, 2 different brands one of which Amazon sells and one brand they don’t. Has anyone had anything like this happen before?
