Amazon Global Logistics Exporter of Record

I’m exporting from China to the US and trying to use AGL. Who is the exporter of record? I can’t seem to find this information anywhere. Amazon’s form says it should be the party responsible for export customs clearance and they must have an EOR number. I have EXW incoterms with my supplier so they’re not doing any exporting clearance themselves. Does the customs broker act as the EOR? If that’s the case then it’s even more confusing because the AGL website says here you’ll be assigned a customs broker. Maybe I’m just an idiot and missing something but the whole thing seams clear as mud.

Anybody have any experience with this that can provide any info would be very helpful.
