Amazon intentionally invalidates charge method
Hi,
I have been having this problem almost a year now.
Amazon keeps sending false information to bank (not info defined with the card in Amazon) when it checks the card and since it doesn’t match, bank declines the transaction and so Amazon Seller Central blocks access untill I “update” the card.
The problem is that it also blocks adding the new card, so every time I have to:
-
contact the bank, have them temporarily allow this highly suspicious card check from Amazon
-
then add a new card
-
then switch all the marketplaces to that card
-
delete the previous card
-
have the bank allow the false info on that card
-
add the card to Seller Central
-
then switch all the marketplaces back to that card.
And I do this every 1-2 weeks.
Amazon support won’t recognize fault.
The problem is with US and CA marketplaces. MX verifies the card and does the test charge without problems. So I know it is Amazon fault, not bank or card problem.
Has anyone had the same experience and has been able to fix it?
