Amazon Ship By Date

Does anyone know why the Amazon Ship By Date is so far out on one of my orders? The customer purchased on Nov 1st and the order still has not been processed. The ‘ship by date’ is Nov 14th.. seems incredibly far out imo. I would be pissed if I ordered something online and it didn’t even get shipped for 2 weeks
