Amazon won’t refund my money
I signed up for an Amazon Seller account. Put in all of my information, was charged $39.99 as seen on my bank statement. The seller account was then disabled, saying Invalid Charge Account, even though I had changed nothing since they took my money from my bank account. I contacted support many many times over a month. I was unable to use any sort of charge account I have, literally all of my cards and bank accounts, and nothing worked. These are cards I use for other services without issue. So I still can’t use my Amazon Seller account to publish and sell. They said I can’t get my money back unless I put in a valid charge account, which apparently is impossible. So at this point, it’s basically theft. If they can charge me $39.99 and keep it, the charge account was obviously valid.
I’m now working on a chargeback, but this is a super asinine situation.
