I’m trying to understand how some products on Amazon, like nasal strips, are being sold with claims that they help stop issues like snoring or improve sleep quality, but the listings remain live despite these health-related claims. For example, many nasal strips marketed as “snoring aids” claim to “open your airways” and “help you sleep better.”

My question is: If these products are specifically marketed as snoring aids, shouldn’t there be regulations or guidelines they need to follow, especially if the product is making medical claims about treating snoring?

Is there any resource or article that explains when and what kinds of health-related claims are considered “medical” and require certification, testing, or regulatory approval to be sold on Amazon?
