Being TRIPLE charged for seller fees and cannot get CS to fix it.
I signed up a seller months ago, but the system kept continually rejecting my credit card info to use for seller fees, meaning I could not list anything to sell. I finally literally took out a credit card with another company JUST to use for Amazon seller fees and was finally able to sell.
I spoke to someone in seller services and I was told that since I never received an initial free month with the $39.99 fee waived, once I paid I could call back and they would refund it. She even said she would put a note of this in my account and emailed me stating this.
Now for some reason not only did I pay the $39.99 on my card, there is an additional $79.98 in fees assessed to my account causing that amount to be deducted from my total sales. Presumably this is because there were two more months of total inactivity on the account where that monthly $39.99 fee was accrued.
I have spent no less than three hours desperately trying to get through to someone at seller services who understands the situation and can help me, but inevitably they all say they will send it up the flagpole and then I get an email saying the fees are valid because I have listed something.
The last person I spoke to was someone in leadership who said that it was a glitch and that in a few days it would be adjusted appropriately, but that was like four days ago and nothing has been fixed.
So not only did I not technically get a month of use with the $39.99 waived, I’m basically paying $99.97 for ONE month of seller privileges on Amazon. I have no idea how to resolve this but it SUCKS.
