Best way to optimize packaging?

I have a private label product that needs to be repacked. I’m trying to get it under 14x18x8 to save money on FBA fees. Who should I look for that can assist in packaging and making me custom boxes for cost effective price? I need about 500 boxes and am willing to pay $1 box.
