BEWARE when downgrading your professional account to individual
getting ready to report my sales tax as I usually do every quarter. Only difference is that I downgraded my account to individual as I start to phase out of this business. Asked the rep ahead of time that downgraded my account (1 month ago) if i will still have access to tax records if i downgraded and she assured me it would be accessible. Fast forward to today, I call in because I’m having trouble finding my sales tax info and the rep told me that “that info is only available for professional seller accounts, your account is an individual selling account.”
I told them I legally have to report my sales tax and they cannot keep that information from me they said its policy, put me on hold to “try to figure something out” and hung up. Does anyone have any clue how I can generate the tax report?
Payments > Tax Document Library > Sales Tax Reports > Generate a tax report >Month or Custom dates > Generate
these are the steps i usually take to get it. but now there is no “generate a tax report” button
