Bixolon Thermal Printer any good?

I’ve tried some of the cheaper Amazon models and have had some jams and issues scanning barcodes, along with WiFi connections dropping. They are also a pain to get setup with their apps.

I saw some of the UPS stores use Zebra and Bixolon.

I’m looking at the Bixolon XD5-40D model which supports Ethernet which I like as the WiFi models I’ve tested all had to reboot every morning for me to print.

Curious if anyone uses these and how they like them? Specs state they work on MacOS. The Zebras seem to mainly work on PCs only.
