Brand approval for (compliant) drop shipping
I’m setting up on Amazon Australia as a FBM seller. I dropship (legitimately from a local supplier) in Amazon-compliant fashion. Seller of record, not showing invoices/receipts with the supplier’s information, accepting and processing returns etc.
There are many inactive SKUs for which the system is saying I need brand approval, and am required to show an invoice indicating the purchase of at least 10 units.
Obviously, with drop shipping the vast majority of orders have quantities less than 10, so this is an issue, and it’s not apparent from the reading I’ve done what steps to take next.
I’m not doing retail arbitrage etc, literally just using a wholesaler that offers drop shipping as my main supplier. Any advice on how to (properly and within TOS) indicate I have brand approval in another manner than the 10+ item invoice would be much appreciated.
