Brand New. Confused about Ungating.

I am attempting to get Ungated in grocery category.

I have a few questions about it.

When I go to the product I want to sell, it says I need “Brand Approval” for the majority of the brands I own. Some also say “Grocery & Gourmet Foods in New, Used, Refurbished, Collectible condition(s)” on top of the brand approval.

My question is, if I submit a application for Grocery and Gourmet Food will it remove the “Brand Approval” requirement if it’s approved? Or do I have to individual get approval for nearly every brand I’ve looked up?
