Can I sell in Europe but give a return address to China?

I remember reading somewhere that as an Amazon Seller I need to provide a return address in the economic area where I am selling my stuff, in this case it would be the EU, is that true or can I just give a return address to China? Where do I find the information about where the return address must be located please? thank you
