can “live looks” into a sales dashboard be manipulated?

im new to amazon fba and have been doing a lot of research with regards to getting training.

i’ve noticed that some people who do training like to give “live looks” into their amazon seller central sales dashboard sales snapshots.

my question is can these sales dashboards be modified to make it look like they are selling when they are actually not?

i ask because there are some people who offer training that have sales dashboards that will say they had 25K in sales for the month and 300K in sales for the year but then their are others who have dashboard that say they sold over 400K a month and over 5M for the year.
