Checking the Black Friday Discount Box on Prime Exclusive Deals

Hello everyone! I’m wondering if there is any benefit to checking the “This is a Black Friday deal” or “This is a cyber Monday deal” box as opposed to simply running my own discount? Does Amazon advertise your deal for you or something if you check those boxes? What benefit do I get by checking the boxes over simply running my own discount? I can’t seem to find anything online.
