Counterfeit claim reported for generic brand

We’ve been selling products for years on a variation listing that is a generic brand. Now the person who originally made listing has reported all sellers on said listing for counterfeit claim, even though, the brand is generic and the products they are selling come from a different brand. Has anyone come across something like this and how did it turn out?
