CRO is the new HERO
Hey Guys,
A lot of people have been concerned regarding the rising cost on Amazon, be it from fulfillment or of PPC.
I do get it, we are all feeling the heat but there’s one way you can pump up your revenue without pulling out huge cheques.
You see, revenue is dependent upon CVR * CTR * Price, hence, with CRO, you have two levers (i.e. CVR and CTR) that you can use to your advantage.
The reason why we have 6X CVR than our peers is because we worked extremely hard on optimizing the listing.
And frankly, most of the times it is pretty straight forward – just think why would you prefer product A over product B on Amazon?
In case if you cant think of anything, keep these things in your mind with respect to CRO:

Title optimization is mostly for SEO and not for humans – We have A/B tested this

Don’t talk about features, but benefits.

Use EBC to the most by first identifying friction points and then by addressing them in a transparent manner

Think of questions you would have before buying your own product. If you don’t have much data, get it from your competitors. If they don’t have it either, do some research within the market you are selling or intend on selling

UGC content by far is the best – professional models do no good. Try to get as much UGC as possible and incorporate those in your overall CRO strategy.
There are a few other things you can do as well but let’s for now stick to the basics because frankly, most of the sellers get it totally wrong.
