Delegating access to a seller account
Here’s the situation:
I own two businesses, let’s call them Business 1 and Business 2.
Business 1 is off and running. We sell a single product and I use my business partner’s Amazon login to access our account, manage ads and inventory, etc. He made the account, I log into it occasionally and do my work on the seller account. It’s probably not the standard way of doing things, but it seems fine, no issues there.
Now I am starting Business 2 with a separate partner. He has created the seller account for that business, and I would like him to delegate admin access to my personal Amazon account (the one I use regularly for my daily life) so that I can manage ads, inventory, same as I do for Business 1.
I know that if Amazon detects different accounts by the same user / IP address, they can potentially deactivate both accounts. This would be very bad, as a substantial portion of my partner’s and my income are generated from Business 1.
Is this okay or not okay with Amazon?
