Do I have to have money to buy inventory for resale?

I’m trying to start selling through Amazon FBA, but I keep seeing all these dudes on TikTok, buying all of a product shelf at Wal-Mart.

What if I have next to nothing, like under $20 in my account rn? I don’t have enough money to buy an inventory of anything!
