Does Amazon give crap support to make sellers feel insignificant?
I’m sure most would agree that seller support is ridiculous? I’ve been a seller for a long time and never have I received such awful time-wasting replies from people who just don’t read questions or care to help. Amazon is a clever company though that cuts costs everywhere and all the back and forth must be costing them unnecessary money. It feels like they are paying staff to continually waste their own and sellers time which just doesn’t make sense.
Unless…. they are doing it on purpose to make sellers feel like they are insignificant. I often find myself saying to my partner when questioned about silly amazon gripes in general “that’s just Amazon, live with it, there’s literally nothing you can do”. Their buyer support is amazing and makes you feel like you’re the only buyer on there but seller support just breaks your spirit. I feel like I put up with so much crap from them and have to bow down because if I’m not there, a thousand more will take your place. It’s the difference of feeling like an important CEO compared to a lowly replaceable worker ant.
