Does the deal quantity matter?
When I schedule the deals, does it matter if I that deal on 10 pieces, 100 or 1000 of that SKU/ASIN? I mean does Amazon prefer to bring organic traffic to deals with a certain quantity?
With lower number, I assume there might be a higher conversion because buyer sees that the deal is say, 80% claimed. But the deal is on lower number of units, so you may leave money on the table.
With larger deal quantities on the other hand, I suspect Amazon will prefer deals with higher quantities (no proof of this of course). And deal fee is spread over more units.
Any thoughts? Should I try to keep the deals small or as large as I can?
P.S. : this is of course assuming I have enough inventory and a healthy margin even on a deal price.
