FBM order fulfillment organization
So I sell plants. I print the packing slip. I give the packing slip to the person who gathers and wraps up the plants, couldn’t turn gives the plants and a packing slip to the person who boxes everything up, weighs it, and prints out a label. The steps don’t always happen on the same day. When using other seller platforms, I’m able to move orders to a folder after I print the packing slip to prevent me from printing out the packing slip twice. With Amazon the problem that I’m having is that there’s no way to distinguish between a new order I just received and orders that are already in process. The name listed on the order is many times not the same name on the packing slip. The ASINs are mostly the same. I don’t use skus. It’s becoming a problem and I’m getting orders confused with each other, which is causing some orders to be shipped out late. Is there any way that I can mark the progression of these orders?
“Try this” is much better than “Why are you doing it that stupid way?”
