First time Amazon seller in Canada

I am bringing a product that I make at home to Amazon homemade. I have already been approved for this.

Is Amazon FBA or FBM better for a first time seller on Amazon. My products range from $23.95-$32.95CAN each and weigh anywhere from 1.75-2.5lbs each.

If I did FBM – my turn around time is pretty quick, I can usually have the items out the door that day or the next day. If I do this and use UPS for shipping do I get a discount?

If I do FBA should I stick with the Canadian market or US market first? Or just go with both?

What happens with inventory that doesn’t sell – can I request it back?

Anything else you’d like to add I’d appreciate very much.
