Getting approved to sell products.

The industry I work in I get wholesale pricing for a lot of cleaning products and I opened a sellers account in the hopes of reselling for a markup. How difficult is it to get approved to sell on Amazon? I have a business account but every product I am trying to list says requires approval. Is this an amazon approval or the company approval? Also, is copyright an issue if I am buying a product, marking it up and selling it?
